We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Full-Time Remote Bookkeeper to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial management. This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. The Full-Time Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in ensuring the company’s financial stability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, track expenses, and manage payments to vendors.
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
- Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies found during the reconciliation process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Organise and file financial documents in a systematic manner.
- Generate and analyse financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Maintain employee records related to payroll and benefits.
- Stay informed about relevant tax regulations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full-Time Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
