JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our client’s team as a Full-Time Remote Construction Administrator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the construction management team by handling administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of construction projects. This position requires a strong ability to multitask, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and organised project documentation, including contracts, permits, and project plans.
  • Oversee the construction team’s email correspondence.
  • Create, update, and manage project files to ensure easy accessibility for team members.
  • Act as a liaison between project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication by disseminating information, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to track project expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Prepare regular reports on project financials for management review.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, both on-site and off-site, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared.
  • Take meeting minutes and distribute them to relevant parties.
  • Monitor project timelines and deadlines to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Conduct regular reviews of project documentation to maintain quality standards.
  • Stay informed about local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction administration or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Familiarity with construction terminology and processes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and building codes.
